Marketplace Access Program Guidelines for Producers

If bringing your own products to WorldofGood.com is a problem, the WorldofGood.com Marketplace Access Program (MAP) can help. A MAP Agent can help you manage your listings, ship your product, receive payment, and handle questions from buyers. Every MAP Agent is a registered seller on eBay whose eBay account is in good standing and who has an eBay Feedback Score of 25 or higher with at least 98% positive.

Steps to finding a MAP Agent

Selling directly to consumers on WorldofGood.com is a great opportunity to reach new markets for your products – whether you do it yourself or use a MAP Agent for some or all of the elements of selling. Follow these steps to get ready.

1. Find a MAP Agent whose services match your needs.

After you’ve read these Guidelines, browse the MAP Agent Directory to find MAP Agents whose business practices and ideals seem to fit with your own.

2. Come to an agreement.

The terms of your relationship with your MAP Agent are for you to decide. Be sure to make a written, signed agreement with your MAP Agent that covers your responsibilities and obligations to each other, such as how each of you will be paid.

3. Tell us about your new relationship.

Once you’ve chosen a MAP Agent, send an email to MAP@worldofgood.com. It will need to be...

  1. Sent from your email address as shown on your Trust Provider’s member list*
  2. With the subject heading “Add a MAP Agent”
  3. Including your first name, last name, and eBay user ID (if any)
  4. Including the name and telephone number of the Trust Provider  
  5. Including the first name, last name, eBay user ID, and email address of the MAP Agent

* If this isn’t possible, we’ll use the phone number (see step 3) to authenticate the request.

4. We’ll contact you.

We’ll contact you after we’ve validated the request or with any open questions.

You will need to have access to a computer and an Internet connection to be able to list and transact on WorldofGood.com.

Returns
Consider how you will allow buyers to return their purchases:
  • Refund (for example, returns accepted for full money back or store credit)
  • 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed (for example, returns accepted, no questions asked)
  • Time Limit (for example, returns accepted within 30 days after the item is delivered)

Customer Support
Be available to your buyers so they leave you the best Feedback possible. Your WorldofGood.com and eBay Feedback are combined and every listing shows your total Feedback Score. Get details.

The closer to 100% positive your Feedback Score is, the more appealing your listings are to buyers. Learn more about Feedback.
   

Now evaluate each agent in the MAP Agent Directory to learn which ones offer the services you need. Remember to look for the icon next to each MAP Agent page  to determine which services the agent performs.

  1. Ask what the cost will be to perform the services you need.
  2. Determine how this cost will impact your business.
  3. Finalize negotiations with the MAP Agent of your choice.
  4. Start selling on WorldofGood.com.
