  • WorldofGood.com is part of eBay. You must be an eBay member and have an eBay seller’s account in good standing.
  • WorldofGood.com requires each seller and producer to be a member or affiliate of at least one Trust Provider verifying or certifying organization.
  • WorldofGood.com requires immediate payment. Your eBay seller account must be opted in to immediate payment.
  • Your profile in the WorldofGood.com Community is an integral part of your identity on WorldofGood.com. You'll need to post or update your profile before you can begin listing items for sale.
  • If any or all of these could become a problem, please consider selling through our Marketplace Access Program.
Steps to becoming a seller

Follow these steps to become eligible to sell on WorldofGood.com:

  1. Affiliate with a Trust Provider.
  2. Complete the Seller Application.
  3. Post your public seller’s profile in our Community.

A note for nonprofits: If your organization has 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax status in the United States, you might be able to reduce your selling fees through eBay Giving Works and PayPal. Contact PayPal for more information.

1. Affiliate with a Trust Provider
Trust Providers are the cornerstone of the unique WorldofGood.com buying and selling experience. Learn more about Trust Providers.

To affiliate with a Trust Provider:

  • Search our Trust Provider Directory for an organization whose business practices match your own.
  • Complete the Trust Provider's membership application.
  • After you’re approved, your Trust Provider will notify WorldofGood.com. However, this might take some time, so to register on WorldofGood.com now, you can ask your Trust Provider to contact us. We will send you information regarding next steps.

If you’re already a member of a Trust Provider organization,
skip to step 2.

If you’re not sure, see if your trade association or business support organization is listed in our Trust Provider Directory. If you don’t find your organization in the directory, but you think it might qualify for the program, please contact us.

You can apply for membership or affiliation in any Trust Provider whose business practices match your own. Once you’re approved, to expedite your eligibility to sell on WorldofGood.com, have the Trust Provider contact us as follows:

  • Send an email to trust.provider@worldofgood.com
  • Put "Verify Member" in the subject line
  • Include your name and email address, the date you affiliated with this Trust Provider, the Trust Provider's name and contact information, and a note about whether you are a seller, producer, or product affiliate.

As a member or affiliate of a Trust Provider you’ll be able to complete our Seller Application. However, in order to start listing items for sale, you’ll need to do the following:

2. Complete the Seller Application
To sell on WorldofGood.com you will need to complete the WorldofGood.com Seller Application. On this form, you submit your Trust Provider affiliation information to us. For your security, we verify the information you submit against information we receive from your Trust Provider. (We don’t have access to that information in any other way or for any other purpose.) If the information matches, we’ll send you a confirming email.

Before you begin, be sure that

  • You’re registered to sell on eBay
  • You know the exact way your name and address are on file with your Trust Provider
  • You have your Trust Provider’s contact information handy

Follow these steps to place your Trust Provider affiliations on file with us:

  1. Go the WorldofGood.com Seller Application
  2. Sign in to your WorldofGood.com account using your eBay user ID and password.
  3. Click the Verify Your Trust Provider Affiliation button.
  4. Select an organization you’re affiliated with from the Trust Provider pull-down menu.
  5. Enter your name and email exactly the way your Trust Provider knows you (even if this information is different from the name and email on your eBay account).
  6. If you’re asked, indicate that you’re a seller.
  7. Click the Add this Trust Provider button.

If you have more than one Trust Provider affiliation,         repeat steps 4-7 to add the others.

  8. If you want WorldofGood.com to contact you about special marketing programs and promotions, enter your organization information. (This section is optional.)
  9. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

If the name and email address you entered on the Seller Application match the name and email address on your Trust Provider records, we’ll send a confirmation message to the email account you have on file with eBay. This message will include a link and instructions for activating your seller registration. Once you’ve activated your seller status, you’ll be ready to start selling on WorldofGood.com.

Example: The name on your eBay account is Jen Wineglobe. You joined the Test Organization, a Trust Provider, as Jennifer T. Wineglobe. You will need to use  Jennifer T. Wineglobe on your Seller Application.

If you forgot the name or email address you used to sign up with your Trust Provider, you’ll need to contact your Trust Provider to obtain this information. eBay doesn’t have access to it.

3. Post your public seller’s profile in our Community
After your Trust Provider affiliation is confirmed, you’ll need to create or edit your Community profile, and to make sure that your profile is visible to the public. Buyers visit our Community to learn more about you and the kinds of products you sell. Learn how to create or edit your profile.
