Every WorldofGood.com listing appears on both WorldofGood.com and eBay.com. Sellers need to select one category for each marketplace. Buyers can search by category on any listing page.
How sellers select categories
WorldofGood.com categories
- Sellers using the WorldofGood.com basic listing tool can find and select both the WorldofGood.com and eBay categories in the tool, using the pull-down menus. No category code number is needed.
- Sellers using a different tool, such as File Exchange, might need to enter category code numbers for both categories.
- If an item doesn’t fit in any of the WorldofGood.com categories, the seller should consider listing it only on eBay.
eBay.com categories
In the WorldofGood.com basic listing tool, we suggest some categories for you to choose from based on the item title. Sellers also can browse the entire list of eBay categories from the basic listing tool to select a different category.
eBay Store categories
If the eBay version of your listing will appear in your eBay Store, you also can choose up to two eBay Store categories for the listing. These store categories are in addition to the WorldofGood.com and eBay categories, and they don’t need to match either of those. Learn more about eBay Stores.
Note: WorldofGood.com categories have only two to three levels, while eBay categories can have as many as six levels.
