Signing up to sell on WorldofGood.com is easy and free. Your listing appears on WorldofGood.com and on eBay, but you pay only one set of fees.

A note for nonprofits

If your organization has 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax status in the United States, you might be able to reduce your selling fees through eBay Giving Works and PayPal. Contact PayPal for more information.

Affiliate with a Trust Provider

Trust Providers are the cornerstone of the unique WorldofGood.com buying and selling experience. They are selected social sector organizations that verify the business practices of their members, or certify products, to foster commerce that sustains and encourages transparency, sustainability, economic empowerment, and ethical business practices. If you want to sell on WorldofGood.com, but you aren’t affiliated with a Trust Provider, here's how to get started:

  • Find a Trust Provider in our Trust Provider Directory whose business practices match your own.
  • Complete the Trust Provider's membership application.
  • Confirm that your membership in this Trust Provider organization is active. Note: This could take from a few days to several weeks, depending on the individual Trust Provider.
  • Your Trust Provider will need to contact WorldofGood.com by email to verify your membership. The email will will need to include the following: your name and email address; the date you became an active member or affiliate of this Trust Provider; the Trust Provider's name and contact information; and whether you are affiliated with this Trust Provider as a seller or producer, or whether the Trust Provider is certifying a product you make. Your Trust Provider should send the email to trust.provider@worldofgood.com with "Verify Member" in the subject line.

Note: The only exception to this requirement is if you are a product-level Marketplace Access Program (MAP) Agent.Learn more about MAP Agents.

Become an eBay seller

Everyone who sells on WorldofGood.com must be an eBay member and have an eBay seller’s account.

Complete the WorldofGood.com Seller Application

To sell on WorldofGood.com you will need to complete the WorldofGood.com Seller Application. Before you begin, be sure that you’re already registered to sell on eBay, you know the exact way your name and address are on file with your Trust Provider, and you have your Trust Provider’s contact information handy.

Follow these steps to complete the seller application and place your Trust Provider affiliations on file with us:

  1. Go the WorldofGood.com Seller Application.
  2. Sign in to your WorldofGood.com account using your eBay user ID and password.
  3. Click the Verify Your Trust Provider Affiliation button.
  4. Select your Trust Provider from the pull-down menu.
  5. Enter your name and email exactly the way your Trust Provider knows you – even if this information is different from the name and email on your eBay account. (If you forgot the name or email address you used to sign up with your Trust Provider, you’ll need to contact your Trust Provider to obtain this information.)
    Example: The name on your eBay account is Jen Wineglobe. You joined the Test Organization, a Trust Provider, as Jennifer T. Wineglobe. You will need to use Jennifer T. Wineglobe on your Seller Application.
  6. If you’re asked, indicate that you’re a seller.
  7. Click the Add this Trust Provider button.
    If you have more than one Trust Provider affiliation, repeat steps 4-7 to add the others.
  8. If you want WorldofGood.com to contact you about special marketing programs and promotions, enter your organization information. (This section is optional.)
  9. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

If we can confirm that the name and email address you entered on the Seller Application match those on your Trust Provider records, we’ll send a confirmation message to the email account you have on file with eBay. This message will include a link and instructions for activating your seller registration. Once you’ve activated your seller status, you’ll be ready to start selling on WorldofGood.com.

Understand listing-level requirements

After you’ve confirmed your WorldofGood.com seller application, you can begin to sell on WorldofGood.com. Here are a few listing-level requirements you will want to become familiar with to ensure a successful listing experience.
