Made Ladri was born December 31, 1959 as the second of three children. Since her father died and her mother remarried, little Ladri was taken care of by her grandmother. She couldn't finish her elementary school and worked as a housemaid for about seven years. In 1977, she decided to go back home and take a course in dressmaking.
