Conventional cotton, like any other crop today, is grown using large amounts of chemical fertilizers and pesticides with sever environmental consequences. Cotton in particular is one of the most chemically intensive crops to grow commercially, requiring nearly 1/3 of a pound of pesticides to produce enough material for one t-shirt. Globally that adds up to 25% of the world's insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides used in commercial farming. Organic cotton, however, is grown without the use of these contaminants which is better for the farmers, better for the environment, and better for you.

our ideas and innovations have been implemented, and others are still
in the works. Here is a list of our endeavors:
- One tree will be planted through our partner, Trees for the Future, for every online order placed.
- All packaging materials are reused and/or recycled.
- All office paper products are made of 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
- Our
farm and store energy is purchased as 100% green energy shares through
a new green initiative with our power company, Consumers Energy.
- 2% of our annual profits are donated to Heifer International and Second Harvest Gleaners of West Michigan.
- Our farm is now Certified Naturally Grown, growing only heirloom or open-pollinated, organically grown fruits and vegetables.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
Our customers' satisfaction is our number one priority, and so we are
happy to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are
not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) for a full
refund of the original purchase price within 14 days, issued as a
merchandise credit in our store. (Return shipping costs are the
responsibility of the customer.)
Simply
contact Customer Service to let us know what you will be returning, and
we will provide you with our Return Department address. Then package
your item and ship via the carrier of your choice. Once your return has
arrived, we will credit you the original purchase price of the item, as
a merchandise credit, to use in our store at your convenience. We also
offer refunds on returned items that are still in unopened, unused,
undamaged condition. Please follow the same steps listed above should
you need to return an item. Refunds are only offered within 30 days of
the original purchase.
PACKAGING
We reuse all of the packaging materials that our products arrive in
from our distributors. We also use USPS Priority Mail shipping boxes,
which are certified Cradle-to-Cradle- a certification that guarantees
their sustainability and minimal environmental impact. We hope that
you, too, will find a use for any shipping materials that are still in
usable condition.
