Intercrafts Peru is a nonprofit civic association promoting exports of Peruvian handicrafts. In this democratic cooperative of artisan groups, artisans participate fully in organizational decisions. The group aims to keep overhead costs low, share responsibility so more income remains in artisans' hands, and explore new markets. Member benefits include loan funds, training, and health, education and technical assistance. Intercrafts Peru is member of the International Fair Trade Association.
