Allpa (Quechua for "earth") is a Peruvian trading company providing marketing assistance to artisan groups and family workshops throughout Peru. Allpa works with families in six regions, including Shipibo people living in the Amazon rainforest. For most of these artisans, handicraft production is a sole source of income. Allpa also provides loans, technical help, product development advice, skills training and equipment to artisans. Allpa is a member of the International Fair Trade Association.
