Salvaged Metal Jewelry is made by Trillium Artisans member Bethany Moore-Garrison of Kiva Studio. This salvaged brass necklace is made from brass clock gears and chain from a cuckoo clock. The medallion is two brass gears riveted together and hangs from brass chain. Several smaller clock parts dangle from above. Clasp is hand forged from salvaged brass wire. 13" long (33 cm).

Bethany Moore-Garrison arrived in Portland in 2007 after spending a few years on Orcas Island where she made sculpture out of amazing junk and ran an organization that records medieval music. Beth is a graduate of Western Washington University holding a BA in sculpture. Her favorite things are funky old buttons, copper, metal salvage, scrap yards, hardware stores, rooting through old barns and finding a priceless treasure on the side of the road.
