This bracelet has been handcrafted using 22 cleaned and polished post-consumer soda can tabs. The "Redwood" bracelet has a beautiful burnt red porcelain bead with black wooden accent beads. The tabs and the beads are woven together using a very strong gold colored elastic for an extremely comfortable fit with no clasp needed. One size fits most wrists.
Not only is this a great conversation piece but also lets the world know how committed you are to the environment and recycling.
Many of the pieces we create use natural stones and beads. Each stone or bead will have its own unique markings and character which will only enhance your jewelry and make it one of a kind.
As a company, Ann-Made, LLC is committed to be as socially and environmentally responsible as possible. Every stage of our business is optimized to that end. We purchase our tabs from a local non-profit group that collects the tabs from local schools and municipalities. Ann-Made purchases them for substantially more than the organization would typically receive from the aluminum recycler. This allows them to contribute much more to the charitable causes they work with. Our packaging is made from 100% recycled paper and the cardboard used to support the packaging is cut down from clean, but used, corrugated cardboard. We are committed to supporting environmental causes and donate a portion of each sale to several of these organizations.
Recently, we were honored to have received the Green America Seal of Approval for being socially and environmentally responsible. We are very honored to have received their approval and plan on continuing to find even more ways to help the earth.
