All of the metals that are used in Alex and Ani collections are recycled. Where does the recycling begin and end? The majority of the waste and the added cost of using recycled products are due to fuel costs incurred during the transport of goods. This occurs because the base product is picked up from the recycling grounds, transported to the recycling plants, and then sent to the production plants, where the finished product is finally produced.
Alex and Ani metals are purchased from local metal suppliers. One of the ecological benefits of using a local supplier is the minimal fuel consumption and waste used in the short transportation process.
