José Pinpinco was born in the province of Bolivar on July 16, 1977. He became a glass sculptor in 1998, when he joined a workshop at the tender age of 19. He mostly enjoys sculpting animal glass figurines; through them, he wishes to convey his love of animals. Pinpinco is also a part-time student; with his family's encouragement and support, he is training to become a mechanic.
